Pokemon Sword and Shield might be caught in the midst of controversy of sorts surrounding its National Pokedex, but let’s not forget that there’s an actual game to look forward to as well. Game Freak and Nintendo have been releasing new trailers for the upcoming RPG duo on a pretty regular basis, showing new Pokemon and new mechanics. And soon, they’ll be revealing more new info.

The official Pokemon Twitter account recently put up an update announcing that new details on the game will be revealed in two days, on August 7th, at 6:00 AM Pacific Time. They didn’t go into what sort of stuff we should look forward to, but considering the fact that they’re pre-announcing it, we can probably expect a new trailer. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more new environments and new Pokemon. Maybe we’ll even get to see some new cross-gen evolutions (fingers crossed).

Pokemon Sword and Shield are out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 15th. Nintendo will also be bringing the games with them to Gamescom later this month.
