Pokemon Sword and Shield - The Isle of Armor

It’s been a while since Nintendo offered any updates on Pokemon Sword and Shield, especially with the first expansion The Isle of Armor slated to release later this month. Thankfully, new information will be coming tomorrow at 6 AM PT. This is according to the official Pokemon Japan Twitter account.

Some details about the expansion have been revealed already, including the addition of new areas, more customization options and new Legendaries. Two Legendaries – Kubfu and Urshifu – have been revealed already with the former being able to evolve into two different styles of the latter, namely Single Strike and Rapid Strike. Both styles are capable of using Gigantamax as well.

Over 200 new Pokemon will be coming in The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. To access either expansion, you need to buy both in the $29.99 Expansion Pass (no word yet on whether they can be purchased separately). The Crown Tundra is currently slated to release in Fall 2020. Stay tuned for more details tomorrow on The Isle of Armor’s release date.
