Red Soul Games has announced a delay for Post Trauma to 2025. The psychological horror title was slated for launch on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. In a statement on Twitter, the developer said the decision wasn’t made lightly and “we understand any disappointment.”
However, it doesn’t think the title is in the state “it deserves to be just yet, and we want to ensure the first experience players have with Post Trauma is a special one.” Some of the issues it’s currently looking at are adjusting the difficulty curve, polishing, bug fixes, etc.
It prefers not providing patches to “add things we feel should have been available on release.” Work is also ongoing to ensure the console and PC versions have parity in quality, which can be challenging given the team’s size. Nevertheless, it’s committed to quality. Stay tuned for more details on the new release date in the coming months.
Post Trauma is developed on Unreal Engine 5 and inspired by old-school survival horror titles like the early days of Resident Evil, right down to the stationary camera angles. The protagonist is Roman, who suffers a panic attack and finds himself in a terrifying dimension with all kinds of horrors.
Hello everyone,
I have some bittersweet news to share, sad because I want to get the game in your hands as soon as possible but good because I know this is the best thing for the game.
