The countdown site aliennoire.com has created quite the buzz, as rumours are running wild that it will be counting down to the long-awaited and earlier thought to be cancelled FPS Prey 2.
Though the source code for the site had the words “Prey 2” and “Human Head Studios” in it, those have since been removed to further confound and befuddle us. However, the source code also reveals that the timer could be finished up by March 1st, thus revealing just what the hell it’s about.
So far, very little is known about Prey 2, other than that Bethesda Softworks confirmed that it is still very much alive. Whether it’s the follow-up to Prey or not – which focused on Cherokee Indian Tommy as he attempted to rescue his girlfriend from aliens – is still up in the air.
What can we say? We’ll just have to wait till March 1st to find out the truth – and in the meantime, wonder just what those creepy symbols really mean.
