Arkane Studios’ Prey will be receiving some new gameplay footage at The Game Awards on December 1st. The trailer will debut worldwide at the awards show but will Bethesda tease a release date as well? That remains to be seen.

Host Geoff Keighley confirmed the news over on Twitter. Keighley also confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would also be appearing at The Game Awards with new gameplay on hand.

Prey was officially revealed at this year’s E3 and is a completely new title that’s a “reimagining” of sorts for the universe. Players will control Morgan Yu, a man (or woman) stuck on the Talos 1 station with a whole bunch of shape-shifting aliens. Morgan has to stop these creatures and becoming like them is only one step. It only gets weirder from there.

Bethesda has confirmed that Prey will be releasing in 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC though an official release date is still pending. What do you hope to see from this Thursday’s gameplay trailer? Let us know in the comments.
