Project CARS Delayed Till 2014 – New Screenshots Gallery Revealed

Originally planned for November 2013, the game will now release early next year.

Slightly Mad Studios has released another round of gallery shots for the upcoming Project CARS. As part of an initiative to put together a simulator without the backing of a strong simulator, the number of gorgeous screenshots the WMD community continues to crank out is amazing. Take a look at a dozen of them below.

Amazingly, the screenshots don’t have any post-processing or filters and reflect how gameplay will actually look. Of course, there is some bad news: Project CARS will now be releasing in 2014 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. Originally scheduled for November 2013, the release run into some delays it seems.

This might have to do with the development, that relies as much on users as the development team. So far, users have been able to create the media, QA and other marketing material in exchange for perks and profit. Stay tuned for mroe screenshots and details on Project CARS’s release.
