Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z:

Fans of the long popular cartoon, Dragon Ball Z will have a real treat coming in January. It may be a bit of a niche fighting game that may not be your thing. The game does look like it’s been ripped right off the TV screen and turned into the a game though. While it’s definitely a fighting game, it’s a bit different from other titles we’ve seen. The areas where the battles take place are large, expensive environments that can be interacted within at least a minor degree.

While really, if you’ve watched DBZ, you already know the plot, but these games have always been entertaining simply because they mix-up the fighting genre of gaming, and gives us something else to look at for awhile. In a world that seems to be completely run by either Marvel Vs. Capcom, Street Fighter or Soulcalibur, it’s nice to have a less competitive, over-the-top fighting game to play. Is it going to be the game of the year? No, most likely not, but it may be good for any DBZ fans out there.
