Wander MMO

After previously announcing that the MMO Wander was going to be a PS4 console exclusive a while back, Sony has just announced the game will be available on June 4. On the official Sony blog, the game was announced with a brand new reveal trailer that showed off a character that wasn’t previously known about. Hira is being introduced to players for the very first time by one of the game’s developers and character artists.

The posting also talked about the number of things that have been done to the game in order to add realism and beauty to Wander. The team has also come up with what they call a menu system that doesn’t have a menu. The team said that “This non-menu will allow the player to manage the map, review their communication glyphs, and change into other forms they’ve found. On top of that, it looks fantastic, too!”

The glyphs come in handy because players need them as kind of a Rosetta Stone in order to talk to other characters in the game because they first have to learn what language those other characters speak. The developers have also come up with a feature that takes advantage of the touchpad on the PS4 controller because you have to draw the symbol of the glyph on the pad in order to talk to characters. This basically “unlocks” communication.

Along with the game’s release date, Sony also announced it is going to be offering up a Wander PS4 theme for those who love the look and sounds of the MMO. Wander comes exclusively among consoles to the PS4 on June 4, until then check out the launch trailer and a few screenshots.
