New video showcases new chase-cam settings.

Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo Sport still doesn’t have a release date but it’s getting some very impressive GIFs and screenshots courtesy of its closed beta.

The first GIF seen here on NeoGAF showcases the detail of the road textures and the sensation of speed. As the car collides with the nearby barricade, you can see the damage on the front as well as the scraps of metal that come flying off.

The second GIF showcases the gravel, particularly how it reacts when tires come into contact. The gravel shoots backwards, kicking up a cloud of dust along with it. The screenshots below offer a closer look at the cockpits, roads and lighting.

If that weren’t enough, a special video was posted by vspectra on YouTube that showcases the new Chase Cam. It’s…interesting, to say the least. What are your thoughts on Gran Turismo Sport’s overall look and presentation? Let us know in the comments below.
