PS4 Exclusive Gran Turismo Sport Looks Absolutely Breathtaking In These GIFs

Polyphony's racer just looks better and better.

Polyphony Digital is working hard on Gran Turismo Sport, with a new series of GIFs (via Twitter user SunhiLegend) showcasing just how realistic the game has turned out. The first GIF showcases the road textures along with the sense of speed and vegetation. It’s also a neat way to showcase the game’s first person view (if that’s indeed what it will be like).

The second GIF is even more realistic, portraying a car speeding down the track as the camera shifts dynamically to accompany its movement. Even the camera’s swerve is realistically captured, which is most impressive. The third GIF mixes things up slightly, showcasing a dustier setting in the daytime. The sun creates some great looking real-time shadows and also bounces off the car’s chrome realistically. If we’re talking higher sensations of speed, then the fourth GIF is worth noting. Admittedly, there’s a heavy dosage of motion blur but it still looks very impressive. Finally, there’s the fifth GIF which has numerous cars in motion and on-screen at once during the day-time.

Gran Turismo Sport doesn’t have a release date (yet) but it will be out on the PlayStation 4 this year. Stay tuned for more information and ogle those GIFs some more in the meantime.
