Sony has revealed a part of the PS4 specs i.e. the amount of RAM it will have.

It was earlier rumoured that the PS4 would have 4 GB Ram with 0.5 GB Ram for the OS, but Sony have blown people away by mentioning that the system has 8GB GDDR5.

What this RAM does is offers 176GB/s bandwidth which is not possible in normal desktop systems. The RAM is only found on graphics cards and it’s not clear how Sony managed to get this right on the PS4.

This is a huge announcement and something that will boost the system for its life cycle. The developers will be pleased with this move as well.

Mark Cerny, the hardware engineer, announced this info on the event. Stay tuned for more news and information at GamingBolt.
