PS4: New IP Knack Showcased on Stage, Looks Stunning

PS4 system architect Mark Cerny has more than just the biggest next generation console design on his plate these days, as he showcased the demo for a new IP coming to the system called Knack.

Trademarked a little bit more than a month ago, Knack is a fantasy title featuring a sort of cartoonish style. Check out what it looks like below. Does this look like a worthy next generation franchise? A great launch title?

So far, we know the Playstation 4 will include a new high speed GPU with an x86 CPU and 8 GB of DDR5 RAM, a new Dualshock design which will have a stereo camera tracking it and also an official logo. How about that?

Stay tuned for more details, as we go into the Cloud services that will surround the PS4 platform (Dave Perry, ftw!). But don’t remain static – what are your thoughts on the conference thus far?
