Following the PS4 price cut in the United States and Canada, Sony has indicated that all European territories will be receiving the same. For instance, the console is now available in Australia for AUD$480, down from AUD$550.

SCEE president and CEO Jim Ryan also mentioned that, “We are delighted to deliver the PS4 system at its best-ever value just in time for the holiday season, making it more accessible to a broader audience in Europe.”

Official confirmed should be available in Europe and the UK very soon. In the meantime, if you were thinking of buying a PS4 in the UK, you might want to hold off on the same for now.

The PS4 has been selling gangbusters since its launch in 2013, with the console outselling the Xbox One in the United States for the past several months (though Microsoft is showing signs of catching up). What are your thoughts on the price cut for the PS4? Let us know in the comments.
