While the best Remote Play experience for the PS4 is still to be had on the PlayStation Vita, Sony has been steadily increasing the range of devices that you can stream your PS4 games to, first adding their Xperia lineup of Android phones to the mix, and then eventually, adding Windows PCs and Apple’s Macs to the list of Remote Play enabled devices too.
Remote Play on PC and Mac for PS4 has been available for quite a while now- ever since the previous major firmware upgrade for the PS4, actually. But with that said, if there was still any lingering confusion about the feature, then this new video by Sony will probably help. It shows off the Remote Play functionality on PC and Mac, while also showing us exactly what the feature is like.
PS4’s Remote Play feature is now available on computers running Windows, Mac OS, as well as Sony’s Xperia smartphones running Android, and their own PS Vita handheld.
