PS5 – 9 Things You Should do With It (and 4 Things You Shouldn’t)

Do: Remove Faceplates to Clean Dust

Even if you’re not looking to order custom faceplates for the console, there is a good reason to remove them. Beneath the front plate (the same one with the PlayStation logo in the upper left corner), there’s a dust catcher that should be cleared out periodically. To remove the face plates, make sure to set the console down flat, hold the bottom with one hand and use your other hand to lift up and pull down on the panel from the top.
