Another open secret- no shortage of those in this feature, right? That Playground Games are working on a AAA open world RPG has been a known fact for a while, and though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, multiple leaks have also made it clear that the game they’re working on is Fable 4. The prospect of a massive single player AAA RPG, a Fable reimagining developed by the incredibly talented people at Playground Games is a very exciting one, and it’s quite likely that Microsoft will want to get it out the gate at least within the first year or so of the Xbox Series X’s launch. Whether or not they will manage to do so by the end of the year itself seems a little less likely, but if it does happen, it’ll be a huge boost for the console.
