Following rumors of PlayStation 5 Pro reveal this month (and the company’s own teases), Sony has confirmed a nine-minute PS5 Technical Presentation on September 9th at 8 AM PT. Unfortunately, the announcement may have leaked early, thanks to an unlisted video.
As reported by Gematsu with accompanying screencaps, the video was originally titled “PS5 Pro” before being renamed to PS5. It would be renamed again to the current title, “PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation – September 10.” With over 62,000 views and counting, with comments saying it’s important to know the difference between “unlisted” and “private,” the chances of a PS5 Pro announcement are stronger than ever.
Stay tuned for updates when the presentation goes live today. The PS5 Pro is rumored to launch in November, per the latest report by Insider Gaming. It reportedly has a system memory bandwidth of 576 GB/s compared to the base model’s 448 GB/s and also includes a “High CPU Frequency Mode” to go from 3.5 GHz to 3.85 GHz in performance. The GPU also allegedly offers 33.5 TFLOPS of performance, a 45 percent increase over the PS5.
