Sony has offered more details on the PlayStation 5 since the console’s first games showcase. But information on the price and release date is still wanting. So it’s interesting to see a new TV spot posted by PlayStation Hungary on YouTube with live-action footage.
The video has since been pulled, likely due to it being released too early. However, you can watch it below courtesy of Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad on Twitter. The TV spot’s marketing line was “Welcome to a New World” though the clip below still carries the “Play Has No Limits” tagline. If nothing else, the ad will be released when PS5 pre-orders open (though this would contradict Sony promising to let players know the date in advance).
The PlayStation 5 is currently set to release this holiday season. Sony has confirmed that DualShock 4 controllers on the PS5 would only work with PS4 titles, meaning a DualSense controller will be needed for next-gen titles. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
