The PlayStation Network is encountering problems yet again. While some users are able to log into the service, several are either reporting issues in logging in or the inability to play their favourite online games while doing so.

Sony is aware of the issues of course. The official Ask PlayStation Twitter stated that, “We’re aware that some players are seeing drops on PSN. Engineers are on the case and investigating.”

This comes off the heels of DDOS attacks from Christmas onwards that basically brought PSN to its knees. Though hacking group Lizard Squad targeted Xbox Live as well, PSN faced far more inactivity for a good few days before being restored.

It’s doubtful that this is another case of DDOSing happening but you can never be too sure. Regardless, stay tuned for more updates on PSN’s activity and let us know in the comments if you’re still facing issues with the same.
