Quantic Dream PS4 Featuring David Cage: The Floating Head One

David Cage took to the stage. Hilarity ensured.

David Cage of Quantic Dream took the stage during Sony’s Playstation 4 event to not only talk about the future of development, with all the power the PS4 posed, but also to showcase a new engine in development.

Actually, there wasn’t really much shown aside from an old guy’s floating head. Cage added something along the lines that his eyes allowed us to look into his soul.

David Cage, ladies and gentlemen.

Still, it was interesting to note that contrast in graphical development between different Playstation generations. Whereas Beyond: Two Souls, arriving for the PS3, features highly detailed models, the new engine blows even that away.

Now if only we could see some real gameplay and less tech demos. Maybe at E3 2013, we can see if Kara is actually a real game? Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out our review of Sony’s conference with all the highlights and low-lifes.
