There’s no doubt that Remedy Entertainment’ newest entry Quantum Break is one of 2016’s most anticipated games. Right out of the gate at Microsoft’s GamesCom event, Remedy Entertainment showered us with not only new gameplay elements, but a new face on the lead character Jack Joyce.

Time concepts, ultimate powers, and a story mixed between game and live-action, Quantum Break is setting itself up to be a great franchise moving forward. Based in a world where time rules us all, a man named William Joyce changed all of that when he invented the world’s first time machine. What enemies come of that to end time and what heroes must fight to preserve its sanctity are told from both sides of good and bad.

Microsoft have been pushing their high-end exclusives for this console generation to extremes this time around. Will Quantum Break prove a success and garner the awards that Remedy Entertainment are so used to? We won’t know until next year. However, we can still have a little fun with some interesting facts you may or may not have known about this amazing looking game. Let’s dig right in.

A Two Sided Story

It’s no secret that Quantum Break holds a lot of secrets within its captivating trailers that have been show over the past couple years. What’s interesting is how the story will shift between the “good” point of view and the “bad.” The main game in which the player controls will portray the good side. Interestingly enough, cut scenes will be live action (meaning: played out with real people) and give us the bad guys’ side of this story.
