“The number one killer is time.” William Joyce (A.K.A. Jack’s brother) is stated to be the only person who could “stop the end of time.” He’s also the one who invented the world’s first time machine. Antagonist Paul Serene took William away because Paul wants time to end. This origin story sounds like a great set up for much more mystery to come.
