RAGE 2, the upcoming open world post-apocalyptic shooter from Avalanche Studios and id Software, is almost here. And today, we got to see over 23 minutes of gameplay for the upcoming, violently colourful (and just plain violent) shooter thanks to a new video posted by the PlayStation YouTube channel.

The video features Tim Willits, the studio director at id Software, accompanying the folks from PlayStation, on a gameplay walkthrough for the title. The walkthrough is also accompanied with some tidbits on the game’s development (such as id and Avalanche’s partnership, how it came about, and how the two studios split duties). If you’re looking forward to the game, this video is pretty cool, even if the footage itself isn’t that remarkable—just the conversations Tim has with everyone else are informative.

If you want more of the game, make sure to check out the latest trailer for it; also, be assured that the game won’t be a GaaS style title, though id and Avalanche will still support it post-launch.
