Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Coming to PS Vita in West

Smite monsters left and right on the PS Vita.

GungHo Entertainment’s Ragnarok Online may be the bee’s knees on PCs but that hasn’t stopped them from announcing Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, an expanded version of the game slated to release not only in Japan but the West as well.

As such, the Odyssey series takes cues from games like Monster Hunter and focuses more on action RPG trappings involving monsters that can be beaten to a pulp. Multiple classes and skill sets are available though we’re unsure if the Dancer made it for this one.

Gematsu recently translated the press release Gungho sent out about Odyssey Ace (along with the snazzy new screenshots above). The game will feature all DLC quests from the original versions, a new epilogue, a random dungeon and the ACE Skill system that will give players new, extra skills.

As of now, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will be releasing for Japan in July. A Western release date is forthcoming. Stay tuned for more details.
