Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege, despite a somewhat rocky start, has catapulted to become one of Ubisoft’s most successful titles. Though it means that single player Rainbow Six is probably dead for good, the Games as a Service model can really drop some unexpected things on you. And, boy howdy, did Siege do just that earlier today when, out of nowhere, a wild west themed “Showdown” mode was introduced in the game.

Ubisoft dropped a trailer along with the mode, which you can check out below. It’s a 3v3 mode set in a special map that will only be available for a limited time called Fort Truth. It involves the Law (Attackers: Ash, Capitão, Glaz, Maverick, and Twitch) and the Graveltop Gang (Defenders: Alibi, Caveira, Kaid, Maestro, Rook). Those who participate can score some cowboy themed gear. You can check out full details here.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Showdown mode is live across all platforms until July 16th.
