Rainbow Six: Siege – New Alpha Gameplay Footage Revealed

For once, it looks like a Ubisoft game may actually live up to the hype.

Last year, Ubisoft announced the return of the beloved Rainbow Six franchise when they announced Rainbow Six: Siege. And although getting hyped for a new announcement at E3 is all well and good, in the time that has passed since, Ubisoft hasn’t exactly acquitted itself well, what with multiple game releases that have either been broken, bloated, or just flat out disappointing. So if you had found your hype for the game dwindling for Rainbow Six: Siege, calm down- judging by the alpha, it appears that this game will actually live up to the hype and expectations.

For starters, it appears that everything that was promised to us in the reveal trailer – including dynamic destructibility, bullet penetration, realistic physics, and a slower, more tactical pace of gaming – is actually making it into the final game without any form of downgrading.

Speaking of downgrading, the game looks shockingly good as well, especially considering it is just in the alpha phase- the final release might look even more polished and graphically impressive.

The game is due to enter beta later this year, and a launch on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC can’t be too long after that. Just stay tuned to GamingBolt, so you can stay current.
