The next big content update for Ubisoft’s tactical multiplayer shooter Rainbow Six Siege called Operation Blood Orchid will go live on August 29th. This will be the game’s first major content drop since Operation Health and update 2.2.2 fixed numerous issues with the game’s servers, matchmaking and vaulting animations.

Along with a new map that’s set in Hong Kong (that’s immediately free to all players), Operation Blood Orchid will have three new operators. While the operators are free to play for those with the Season Pass on August 29th, everyone else can access them on September 5th and must use in-game currency for unlocking them. These new operators include two from Hong Kong and one from Poland.

More information on Operation Blood Orchid will be offered on August 26th at the Pro League Finals. Players will even get a live demonstration of the new map. Another new patch is on the way for the game and will be significantly larger (as high as 42 GB) than anything recently.
