Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Para Bellum Arrives in June

New gameplay footage showcasing Operators Alibi and Maestro revealed.

Ubisoft’s next big update for Rainbow Six Siege, Operation Para Bellum, has received new gameplay footage offering a closer look at the new Operators Alibi and Maestro along with the new map Villa. It will release in June 2018 with a Test Server launch on May 22nd for PC players.

As the trailer below indicates, Maestro and Alibi belong to the Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (G.I.S.) unit. The former specializes in placing a remote access turret which fires lasers and can spy on players through smoke. It’s also bulletproof so you’ll need to either destroy the wall behind it or bash it with a sledgehammer. Alibi is even more complex, deploying holograms to confuse her foes and cause them to reveal their locations.

Among other new features include a Pick and Ban system with teams swapping Operators in the sixth pick; a buff to Echo and the Clubhouse Map; adjustments to dropshotting and weapon sight misalignment; and a new counter defuser animation.
