Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege has received a new patch across all platforms which adds in support for Ultra HD textures to all common assets. If you’re interested in playing Rainbow Six Siege in 4K resolution, this is the update for you. You’ll still see benefits at 1080p and 1440p resolution if you’re using a 4 GB GPU but the best results can be seen in 4K and on Ultra settings.

Other fixes include those to hit registration which fix the pawn rotation latency and rappelling while shield positioning, shooting and moving. Ranked matchmaking has also been improved and there’s increased reliability on skill rank updates in the end-game. An auto-kick feature has also been implemented for team-killers.

Abandoning a ranked game usually induces a penalty and this has been reduced to eight minutes in this update. Check out the full patch notes here.
