Rainbow Six Siege Patch Punishes Team Killers, Releasing on July 13th

Bug fixes and Operator balances also coming.

A new patch for Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege will be out on July 13th and brings some much needed punishments for team killers.

If you’re on a team and have an unhealthy desire with killing your teammates, then you’ll be kicked from the match. In a ranked play, you’ll face a 15 minute ban and 50 percent renown penalty. A second offense will ban you from matchmaking for 30 minutes. A third offense bans you for two hours and a fourth offense bans you for 24 hours.

Still not getting the hint? Eventually you can be banned for seven days from matchmaking. Bans will be decided on a case by case basis so don’t worry if you make a mistake and clip a teammate or two.

Other changes coming in the game including re-balancing for Pulse, whose gadget has better awareness, and fixing bugs like access to the Casual menu while banned, the player’s weapon disappearing if you cancel a pickup animation, camera devices floating if a player is killed while using them and Xbox One players being unable to create Custom Matches while offline.
