Ubisoft’s PvP shooter Rainbow Six Siege has been going strong for quite some time, and it seems like developers are hardly done with the game, as they recently revealed their plans for its seventh year, along with its first season, which is called Demon Veil.
To keep up with the traditions of the new year for the game, Ubisoft unveiled the new operator who will be joining the ranks of team Rainbow. Called Azami, she is a special operative from Japan working in the private security sector. Azami’s gadget – the Kiba Barrier – is a throwable kunai that, on deploy, expands into a material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, giving quick cover to the teammates in defense. The Kiba Barrier can also be used to quickly repair holes in walls and floors, giving more versatility to the defense phase.
Apart from that, Azami is a medium-speed operator with medium health, featuring a loadout that comprises a 9X19SVN or an ACS12 as a primary weapon, and a D-50 as a secondary weapon. She will be joining the ranks of team Rainbow when Season 1 of Year 7 in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege kicks off.
