Rainbow Six Siege Operation Skull Rain

Ubisoft has revealed the next add-on for Rainbow Six SiegeOperation Skull Rain which introduces two new operators, a new map and some new features.

The two new Operators are Caveira, a Brazilian defensive Operator capable of sneaking up on enemies with the Silent Step skill, and Capitão, an attacker with a tactical crossbow. Both Operators are part of the Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (BOPE) so it only makes sense that the new map is set in the favela. Ubisoft promises the “most destructible map to date”.

There will also be a new custom game mode called Tactical Realism which doesn’t allow players to mark enemies and will only allow for basic HUD elements. Kill confirmations aren’t included, ammo has to be managed carefully and there will also be a new angled grip attachment. A new Surrender system is also planned for players to use in ranked matches (which players can vote on) but that must be done before the third round.

Operation Skull Rain is out on August 2nd for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It will be available to everyone for free but the Operators must be acquired using in-game currency. Also, Season Pass owners get immediate access for free and that too seven days before others.
