Rainbow Six Siege Operation Skull Rain

Ubisoft announced that Rainbow Six: Siege would be receiving a new add-on with Operation Skull Rain on August 2nd, bringing new Operators, new features and a new map to the foray.

In a new video, the map – set in a Brazilian favela – was teased and it features plenty of claustrophobic alleys, rooftops and even fireworks in the night. A higher degree of destruction has been promised and a full demo of the map, along with the new Operators, is planned for July 30th at the Xbox One pro league finals at 3 AM CET/7 PM PST.

Operation Skull Rain will offer a new multiplayer mode with Tactical Realism, a new Surrender system and a new angled grip attachment. The new Operators will be available to Season Pass holders for free and seven days ahead of schedule while they must be purchased using in-game currency by everyone else.

Otherwise, Operation Skull Rain will be free for all when it releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
