Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank is the latest PS4 title to announce support for PS4 Pro. In a PlayStation Blog, the developer outlined some of the graphical enhancements it would ship with.

Along with a “much higher resolution” and HDR support, Insomniac noted a technique called Temporal Injection. This allows for a higher resolution but one that allows eliminates jaggies with anti-aliasing. Coupled with HDR, the PS4 Pro version promises to offer “best image quality you’ve ever seen in a Ratchet & Clank game.”

If you’re still using the PS4 or PS4 Slim, then Ratchet and Clank will feature HDR support to improve visuals on those platforms. Expect the free patch that adds in PS4 Pro features to release either before or on November 10th, which is when the console releases.

By now the number of games that will support PS4 Pro has become quite sizable (check out this list here for a quick count). With the console out next week though, it’s awfully convenient and should help provide some incentive to pick up the Pro.
