Tarsier Studios’ free demo for Reanimal is available now on PC as part of the Steam Next Fest. Check out a short new trailer briefly highlighting its scares below.
Of course, there are more extensive looks at the co-op terrors that await The Boy and The Girl. Tarsier recently showcased the first five minutes of the story and how the duo met before ending up on the island with the abandoned Mill. After exploring and evading creepy, snake-like individuals, they find one of their friends, Hood.
While venturing through the Trainyard, however, they happen across a top hat-wearing monstrosity known as the Sniffer. He can’t be defeated – running is the only option, which adds to the scares. Thanks to co-op support, you can share that fear with other players. Initial impressions are already positive, with some commenting, “Better than Little Nightmares 3,” which was developed by Supermassive Games and not Tarsier.
Reanimal launches in Q1 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
