Comcept’s ReCore was originally scheduled to release in Spring 2016 – that too for the Xbox One only. However, not only is the game coming to PC as well but it’s been delayed. No, this isn’t another Scalebound-style delay – instead, the action adventure title from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune will be out in the “latter half” of this year. So don’t panic just yet.

A Microsoft rep recently told Engadget that, “We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore, however the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016.”

ReCore will be heading to the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC platforms. It’s also interesting to note that former Bungie writer Joseph Staten is the lead writer on the game. Staten is better known for leaving Bungie when the studio allegedly rejected his original plot for Destiny.

What are your thoughts on ReCore being delayed? Let us know in the comments below.
