JOHN AND ABIGAIL AT BEECHER’S HOPE
The final scene of Red Dead Redemption 2’s epilogue shows John and Abigail standing over a small cliff on their property at Beecher’s Hope, overlooking the ranch and their hope, as they contently look at their home, unaware of what the future holds for both of them. While it’s a scene full of hope and the possibility of peace for both of them in isolation, it’s actually a pretty grim juxtaposition, because as fans of the first game would know, that is the exact same spot for both John and Abigail are buried after their deaths in Red Dead Redemption 1.
