NATIVE HARDSHIPS
Among the many thematic and narrative similarities that Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 share with each other, one is about the hardships faced by Native Americans in that time period- both games place a huge focus on the topic in their final acts, and Dutch also plays a pretty important role in both situations. Of course, another similarity is that Dutch uses the hardships faced by the Natives to his own benefit, using their anger to turn them into foot soldiers for himself in an attempt to lead the on a misguided path.
