RANCH LIFE
A common theme across the epilogues of both, Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 is that the game has players engaging in mundane activities as the playable character on a ranch. In Red Dead Redemption 1, John does a lot of mundane everyday work on his own ranch to teach all that stuff to Jack, while in the epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2, John does that same stuff on the ranch he’s working for, to learn that stuff himself. Too bad none of it doesn’t really amount to much in the end.
