Red Dead Redemption 2’s Newest Screenshots Showcase Incredible Detail

Lighting quality, facial expressions and wildlife shine in these screens.

The newest trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 released on May 2nd and brought more insight into the story. It was full of charismatic voice acting and dialogue, violence, fire and pretty much everything a Wild West title could deliver. For a closer look at some of the finer details, check out the latest screenshots below. They showcase the game’s gorgeous lighting and wildlife.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to the first game and features the Dutch Gang, led by Dutch van der Linde. After a failed robbery, the gang is on the run and must find a way to survive. Players control Arthur Morgan, a member of the gang who’s struggling to identify with it going forward.

Among the gameplay features we know of, the Honor System will be making a return and players can toggle off various elements of the heads-up display. We’ll get to know more about other elements like the multiplayer in the coming months. Red Dead Redemption 2 is out on October 26th for Xbox One and PS4.
