Redout 2

34BigThings’ futuristic anti-gravity racer Redout 2 will release on May 26th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A new trailer is available, showcasing the high-octane racing and sleek visuals that fans can expect. Check it out below.

After the disastrous Space Assault DLC for Redout, the development team is going back to basics with the sequel. It offers 36 unique tracks (complete with some reverse variants) and modes like Arena Race, Time Attack, Last Man Standing and even Boss Races. There are 12 chassis to choose from, each with different propulsors, rocket engines, intercoolers, magnets, rudders and of course, paint jobs to choose from.

Online multiplayer supports up to 12 players on PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms (six on Nintendo Switch) and will receive additional content via seasons. A Photo Mode is also available at launch, allowing players to capture still images and customize them to their heart’s content. For more details, check out the overview trailer here.
