Dontnod Entertainment and Capcom have put together a new trailer for Remember Me, while simultaneously announcing its release date. The trailer provides some insight into Nilin’s background, and essentially serves to set up the game.

Awakened in a place she doesn’t know, Nilin has lot all of her memories. She arrives in the city of Neo-Paris in 2084 to discover that she is a Memory Thief who goes around hunting other people’s memories. The central game revolves around Nilin finding out who she really is – and why her memories were erased in the first place.

Putting together a faux Assassin’s Creed style of movement, along with beat em’ up style fighting mechanics and combo customization, Remember Me is slated to release on June 4th in North America and June 7th in Europe for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Interestingly, this will be during E3 2013 season so it remains to be seen if it can attract enough interest in the midst of so many high profile announcements.
