Remnant 2

Gunfire Games has released new gameplay for Remnant 2 (courtesy of IGN First), showcasing one of the new bosses players will fight. The Gunslinger, one of the new archetypes, looks pretty good, devastating foes with mid-range and close-quarters damage. However, the Mother Mind is an altogether different beast.

Using giant tendrils, it smashes the platform one is standing on, necessitating a shift. It also launches projectiles that pool into a corrosive liquid while summoning minions. Be especially careful of its spinning attack, which can cover a wide range. On the bright side, Incendiary ammo is back and helps tickle bosses and enemies down to zero.

Remnant 2 launches this Summer for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It features a new class system where players can build their character using different archetypes, including the new Handler, who gets a dog companion. The procedural world generation is also heavily revamped, with players seeing entirely different biomes, enemies, bosses and more in a world. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
