Remnant - From the Ashes_02

Gunfire Games’ Remnant: From the Ashes has proven to be something a hit. It’s sold over one million units since launch on top of receiving positive critical acclaim. To celebrate, the developer has announced new content will be going live tomorrow with Hardcore Mode.

The mode is pretty simple: Make a new character and once he/she dies, they’re lost forever. Random matchmaking is disabled and Hardcore characters can only match with each other. If you’re successful at defeating a World Boss in Hardcore Mode, then you could benefit from new rings (which will be available to all characters in Standard and Hardcore).

Other improvements coming with tomorrow’s update include an Emote wheel (with many emotes unlocked through gameplay), a pinging system, balance changes and even the ability to hide helmets. More content will be coming in Spring 2020 with the Corsus + Survival Update along with something “Top Secret” that’s scheduled for late 2020.

Remnant: From the Ashes is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check out our review for the game here.
