Gunfire Games’ surprise hit Remnant: From the Ashes has received its second and last major paid DLC with Subject 2923. Unlike Swamps of Corsus, however, this DLC adds a significant new story, new bosses, a brand new region and plenty of new enemies. Check out the launch trailer trailer.
The story sees the player learning more about The Dreamers as they travel to Ward Prime and the snow-covered realm of Reisum. If you enjoy the new enemy types, then they can also be fought in Adventure Mode and Survival Mode as well with the chance to earn new rewards. New armor, new trinkets, new weapons – like the Frostborne axe – and much more await.
Subject 2923 is currently available standalone for $9.99 though you can also purchase it as part of the Remnant: From the Ashes – Complete Edition which includes the base game and all DLC. The latter costs $49.99 normally but is currently discounted by 34 percent. Alternatively, one can try out the base game first which is discounted by 40 percent. Offers last till September 3rd.
