Remnant from the Ashes - Swamps of Corsus

Breakout third person shooter/Soulslike Remnant: From the Ashes has received its first paid DLC with Swamps of Corsus. Available for PC at $9.99, it adds a revamped Corsus, a new Survival Mode and a bunch of new items. It’s also possible to collect new Glowing Shards and acquire alternate skins for armor.

The new Corsus is available in Adventure Mode and has some new story content. It sees the Cult of Iskal dominating the swamps and becoming a major threat. Naturally, you need to put a stop to it, ideally by taking out the Queen. New weapons, side dungeons and new bosses await. But the main appeal of the DLC may be Survival Mode.

In this, players enter a rogue-lite mode with nothing but some scrap and items, and a Repeater Pistol. They’ll travel to different biomes in random order, fighting progressively tougher foes and gaining new armor and weapons. However, die once and it’s right back to the start.

Remnant: From the Ashes – Swamps of Corsus will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One as well but on June 4th. New players can pick up the new bundle, which packs the base game with the DLC into one package for $44.99. This bundle will be available for consoles in June as well so stay tuned.
