Following the success of Resident Evil HD Remaster, which went on to become the highest selling digital title of all-time, Capcom has announced that it will be remastering Resident Evil 0 as well. Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will be arriving on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC in early 2016. Check out the announcement for the same above courtesy of director Koji Oda and producer Tsukasa Takenaka.

Resident Evil 0 was an original title exclusively developed for the Nintendo GameCube and takes place prior to the events of the first game. It focuses on the origin of the T-Virus with medic Rebecca Chambers and ex-soldier Billy Coen working together to survive against various horrors. Resident Evil 0 is famous for being the first game in the series to introduce the dual-character mechanic and allowing players to switch between either character at any time.
