Resident Evil 2 Gets Loads of New Videos Showing Off Gameplay

Featuring some iconic scenes brought to new life.

Resident Evil 2 is a month and a half away from release, and today, loads of outlets posted videos showing off gameplay footage from the eagerly anticipated upcoming reimagining of the game many fans contend is one of the best ones in the franchise.  The videos below are from IGN, GameSpot, and Resero, and collectively show over half an hour’s worth of gameplay—including gameplay footage showing off Tyrant, and of Leon Kennedy in the sewers.

A lot of fans are going to get goosebumps, and not because they are scared when they watch these videos—seeing those classic scenes from the beloved original game realized in this new style with cutting edge modern graphics is something else, and it feels like game creator Hideki Kamiya’s debut masterpiece is being done proper justice here.
