Resident Evil 2 Remake Will Require Just 21 GB of Your System’s Storage

That's surprisingly low for a AAA game in today's day and age.

Capcom games have a history of not demanding too much storage space, regardless of how huge or ambitious they may be. The upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2 is going to be in line with that as well. Its Microsoft Store page was recently updated, and confirms that the game’s size will be 21.07 GB.

A little over 21 GB is a very reasonable size for a AAA game that promises to be as ambitious and polished as Resident Evil 2 looks to be. Recently, we reported that over 800 Capcom developers were involved in the development of the upcoming survival horror title.

Resident Evil 2 launches on January 25, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In (somewhat) related news, Kingdom Hearts 3, which launches just a few days after Resident Evil 2, also got its file size confirmed (and it, too, doesn’t require too much space). Read more on that through here. Meanwhile, if you’re hyped for Resident Evil 2 and can’t wait for its launch, make sure you check out this recently release gameplay footage focusing on good old Lickers.
