Resident Evil 2 is almost here, just a little over two months away from release. And Capcom has decided to show us yet more of the game ahead of its launch. At this rate, we will end up having seen the entire game before it comes out.

That said, this video, courtesy of PlayStation Underground, shows Claire in an encounter with the horrifying, grotesque, blind Lickers, and is going to be something a lot of people will enjoy regardless. Fans of the original game will enjoy it because of how well it has been reimagined and recontextualized with modern graphics and technology, while newcomers will probably just find the video very tense and exciting, and be further sold on the game because of it. That said, if you are like me, who wants to stay blind on the game as much as possible, my advice is to not watch this video.

Resident Evil 2 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019. If you want to see more of the game, make sure to check out the footage of the game showing Leon in his DLC Noire costume.
